Carp Fishing and Catfishing at Red’s Lake – Welcome to Red’s Lake!
We feature 3 pay ponds on our countryside property. 2 tournament ponds are stocked for catch and release carp tournaments (with buffalo too!) and our 3rd pond is a “fun fishing” carp and catfishing lake which does allow for some take-home catfish and is a great way to practice your carp fishing skills! All of our lakes are bank fishing and we feature a stocked convenience shop with baits and snacks. During kitchen hours, you can order a delicious burger and more, made to order.
We are located at: 1031 W Macedonia Church Rd, Oxford, GA 30054 (East of Atlanta, South of Loganville, North of Covington.)

If a tournament has 40+ anglers, fun-fishing will not be allowed in the carp/buffalo ponds. Fun-fishers must wait until after the tournament draw to choose where they want to fish.
3rd Pond Carp and Catfishing: This “Fun Fishing” is available during any hours we are open for tournaments. (See above). Our 3rd pond is stocked with carp and catfish and is not a part of the tournaments in the first 2 ponds. Your $20 fee includes your 3 poles and up to 10 lbs catfish you can take home, that you have caught, for no additional charge. This pond is a great way to sharpen your skills or learn as a beginner.

Braided line is not allowed on the reels. It can only be used on leaders.
Reminder: Dogs are NOT allowed on the lake. ... See MoreSee Less
What about π
Someone uses a good bit of it.. cut some out of every areator a few weeks ago
Jackson Gladue damn you can’t go back out there, they said no dawgs allowed!π€ͺ
What about weedeater cord?
One man always messes shit up for others!!! More than likely it's fisherman getting hung on cord and breaking there line and it's sucking up in your aerators. That's an issue at about every pond that has aerators!!!
I’m just asking cause I’m curious. What’s the beef with braided line?
Kyle Chandler your caught buddy
Why would anybody use braid πit has no stretch to it π
Never saw a lake have beef with a certain type of fishing line ππ
I don’t know what kind of temu braid y’all use down there but back when I used braid I couldn’t break my line. Almost every time I got hung my hooks would straighten out or break when they didn’t whatever I was hung on came to me.
Damn nobody will fish then cause all men are dogs lmao jk π π€£ π π€ͺ
Great now the cool kids going to kick me out the club cause I can't make the swarping sound
Mono gets in the aerators and causes bad things to but I wouldn't use braid for carp fishing anyway lol
That would defeat the proppous of using braid the casting abilities use 25 30 lb braid with a 2 to four foot mono leader you have casting ability and stretch ability .
Who still brings their dog? Does anyone know?
Just use a 50' leader. Lol
Oy old boy not dog no braid the tree es alot worse things on palaces today that need to be addressed but hey no one worries bout that may loss some money if they address the real problem .
First pond I have seen bam it just wished more would ban the crap. Every pond I went to that uses it the anglers just cut line at rod tip then makes a big mess. Mono will stretch then break but braid won't stretch at all then almost impossible to break
Brandon Roberson Richie Roberson
This should be a no brainer for anyone that fishes a pay lake π€¦π»βοΈ
What about Tigers? Are they allowed on the lake? I have 6 of them
No stretch
Why is dogs not allowed on the lake?
Rip there lips out
